The Town is excited to announce the modernization of Groff Park! With funding provided by Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds and a grant from the Land Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), the park will be updated with a new splash park, a new playground and pavilion, and improvements to the existing pavilion on the lower level. Additional site amenities included in this project are more seating, shade structures, trees, kiosks and a rain garden. The Town worked with Berkshire Design Group to develop preliminary plans and cost estimates that help secure the funding, and continues to work with Berkshire Design Group to complete concept plans with community input. The goal is to finalize plans by late spring/early summer in order to start construction this fall.
