18th May 2011- The Town of Amherst has been named a Tree City USA community for 26 years! Below is a photo from the awards ceremonyfor its21st year.
3rd December 2011- The Committee organized an after storm clean
up workshop. This included a chainsaw safety clinic and a lesson on how
to prune a tree.
